Review

The good

Everyone has a voice—the First Amendment in action

The bad

Some people have bad manners

The Bottom Line

Authentic Learning— it’s a lot more engaging to write for an audience—don’t tell them it’s writing…

Class Assignment

1.     Create a teacher blog using wordpress.com.  Your audience is your students and their parents.

2.     First Entry—welcome message to students and parents.  Maybe goals for the year, maybe what you did this summer – just be yourself and keep your audience in mind.

3.      Extra Credit for overachievers: Add a link to your Delicious account on the sidebar.
